1) ADJ If you are over-age, you are officially too old to do something.

He was a couple of months over-age for the youth team.

2) ADJ: ADJ n (disapproval) You use over-age to describe someone who is doing something that is usually done by much younger people, and which therefore seems inappropriate or silly.
